Hermes is opening a new exhibition in London this month, entitled Leather Forever, featuring some of the historic label’s most famous designs. Celebrating Hermès’ 175th anniversary, the exhibition will also play host to some of the brand’s famed artisans, of which I have included some images below. The locale will be the sister space of the Royal Academy of Art, 6 Burlington Gardens, the exhibits will trace Hermès’ history  which began as  saddle and harness-maker, to one of the most famous handbag, leather and accessories brand.

The exhibition will feature these four  bags above, representing England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales which will be auctioned after the event ,  all proceeds will be donated to the Royal Academy of Arts.

This neon Kelly bag (above) was created by Alexandra Plat specifically for the event
