Generator Hostels, pioneer in low-cost cool and design hotels is hitting Venice after different European cities such as Copenhagen, Hamburg, and Dublin (with openings planned for Paris and Rome next year!). Their recipe?  To offer a place with a soul, thought and build with a close attention to art and design while remaining affordable.

Generator Venice is set inside a converted 17th century grain warehouse, set right on the water’s edge on the island of Giudecca just across the water from San Marco, the red brick exterior of the hostel exudes typical Venetian industrial charm.

Inside, the charm of the old grain warehouse has been kept with the original beamed cloister ceilings, stone pillard and retro tiled floors. You can definitely get ready for a cool, fun and affordable trip in Venice, as Generator says it’s ”?much, much more than a hostel.”
