LA’s hottest restauranteurs, Jon Shook and Vinny Dotoloseem, have recreated the closest thing to home cooking. Their latest addition,  Jon & Vinnys is a bold and telling move that reiterates that the duo is here to stay.

Though aesthetically similar to Animal, their first restaurant located just down the street on Fairfax, the menu is not solely committed to carnivores. You will find a good mix of their more traditional homemade pastas, pizzas and their signature culinary twists we have come to recognize and crave across all five of their restaurants.

To add to this new hotspot’s hype, the wooden box comes equipped with its own wine shop called Helen’s, found behind the neon sign in the back of the restaurant.

Jon and Vinnys is normally crowded and lively-  the perfect setup for a casual bite or a leisurely lunch. Be prepared for a long wait, as lines tend to stretch out the door with new and loyal customers alike eager to get their slice of heaven.
