The eastern coast of Peloponnese, near the town of Porto Heli, hosts a modern Greek temple. The new Aman Hotel, Amanzo’e, opened in 2012 after several years of careful and creative planning, so that it could provide to its visitors the best luxury experience at the Peloponnesian peninsula. American architect, Ed Tuttle designed the resort, having in mind to recreate an ancient Greek village. The result is quite striking! The high ceilings, marble, colonnades, private courtyards and pools are only some of the opulent details that create a dramatic yet relaxing ambiance to the guest pavilions and villas. In addition to all the decadence is Amanzo’e ‘s refined menu with fresh ingredients from the best local suppliers, created by executive chef Rick Gonzalez and his sous-chef Ilias Doulamis.
