The Future Perfect showcases exceptional decorative arts and design. It is a store, shop, gallery and mecca, mixing talent from New York and the world. Founder Dave Alhadeff recognized that too much design seen in magazines or boutique windows relied on cleverness but, in the end, had no lasting or intrinsic beauty. Located in an unconventional space in New York City’s Lower East Side, Anthom is an international online boutique carrying under-the-radar designers, independent labels, and exclusive capsule collections. Winding through two levels, the store features an old tin ceiling, exposed brick, and ground concrete. The double-height back room is one of our favorite places to spend the day.
